Your child will love our local preschool in Auckland

Every child is unique, and needs a personalised approach to flourish!

Here at Waipuna PreSchool Centre believe that children develop best when they are kept safe from harm, where they feel loved and cared for and where learning is fun and joyful. You can expect our team to supply morning tea, afternoon tea, beds, linen, toys, equipment and lots of fun! All you need to supply is a healthy lunch, disposable nappies, formula and a bottle. A change of clothes is also required as we often participate in lots of stimulating play at our preschool in Auckland.

From 3 months to 5 years

In line with the Early Childhood Education Curriculum, our preschool has three areas:

  • Infants area: 12 weeks to 18 months
  • Toddlers area: 18 months to 3 years
  • Preschool area: 3 years to 5 years.

Our centre has a full licence under the new regulations. We currently have 5 qualified teachers who are registered with the New Zealand teachers council.

Our learning & development

Your child will learn many important life skills when visiting our centre such as:

  •  Taking turns, sharing, pretend play, communication, role play and friendship.
Physical skills:
  • Children develop motor skills that allow them to participate actively in the setting.  
Problem solving skills:                               
  • Children are encouraged to identify and describe problems and helped to make connections and relationships to solve them.

The aim of our preschool in Auckland is to:

  • Provide a safe, caring, hygienic, stable and educational environment for all children and staff of Waipuna PreSchool Centre
  • Provide a facility which recognises the business demands on parents with flexible operating hours
  • To be aware of individual differences and cater for these through a variety of activities
  • Provide a secure, loving and happy environment which stimulates the growth and development of the children attending the centre
